서강대학교 2010-1 편입영어 출제경향

서강대  편입영어는 제한시간 60분에 객관식 4지선다형으로 총 40문항 출제되었고, 2회로 나누어 시행되었다. 작년과 달리 올해 시험에서는 어휘 유추 문제가 출제되는 대신에 간단한 생활영어 지문에서 관용어구를 물어보는 문제와, 2007년까지 시행되었던 multi-blanks문제(독해)가 다시 출제되었다. 서강대 편입영어 시험은 문제의 유형이 유동적이므로 최근 5개년 치의 문제를 풀어봄으로써 출제경향을 파악해보는 것이 필요하다.

문법  정·비문 3문항, Written Expression 6문항이 출제되었다. 정·비문 유형에서는 각 보기의 문장에서 구두점이 올바르게 사용되었는지 물어보았고, W/E 유형에서는 올바른 동사, 전치사, 관사 등에 대한 문제가 출제되었는데 문장이 길고 지엽적인 문법 사항이 출제되어 난이도는 지난해 보다 상승하였다.

논리완성  6문항이 출제되었는데 이 중 2문제는 연결어를 물어보았다. 문장의 구조나 출제된 보기의 단어들이 어렵지 않아 쉽게 정답을 도출할 수 있었을 것이다.

독해  20문항 중 10문항이 한 지문에서 multi-blanks유형으로 출제되었다. 올바른 전치사, 접속사 및 도치구문, 적절한 어휘를 고르는 문제가 다양하게 출제되었다. 지문의 내용이 어렵지는 않았지만 이런 유형의 문제를 처음 접해본 학생들은 어려웠을 것으로 판단된다.
