경희대학교 2009-1 편입영어 출제경향

경희대 편입영어의 문제유형과 문항 수는 2008년과 비슷하지만 전반적인 난이도는 상승했다. 동의어 찾기의 문항 수는 예년에 비해 늘었고, G/S유형이 추가로 출제됐다.

문법  정·비문 2문항, Written Expression 4문항, General Structure 4문항이 출제됐다. 정·비문에서는 올바른 조동사와 전치사의 사용을 묻는 문제가 출제됐다. W/E에서는 수동태, 부사, 관계사의 올바른 쓰임을 묻는 문제가 출제됐고, G/S에서는 전치사, 사역동사의 올바른 표현 찾기, dislike~ing, 올바른 동사 찾기 등의 문제가 출제됐다.

어휘  동의어 문제가 15문항 출제됐다. 출제된 어휘는 adopt, compelling, immutable, indifferent, obsolete, note, traumatic, epitome, take in, stride, derivative, convergence, mandatory, dire, sluggish, miserly 등이다. 비교적 자주 접한 단어들이지만, note가 문장에서 ‘주의하다, 유념하다’라는 의미로 쓰인 것처럼 2차적인 의미를 묻는 문제도 출제돼 심도 있는 어휘 학습의 중요성을 다시 한 번 일깨워 주었다. 

Regardless of the increasing importance of women in the labor field and the campaign for equal rights, it is interesting to note that women in some countries still consider homemaking the most important of their responsibilities.

논리완성  one blank 유형으로 11문항 출제됐다. 문장구조가 복잡하지 않아 문맥을 파악하는 데 큰 어려움이 없었다.

독해  총 24문항이 출제됐다. 빈칸완성과 내용일치를 묻는 유형이 주로 출제됐다. 빈칸완성 유형이 절반에 가까운 비중을 차지했고, 문맥상 동의어 찾기, 부분해석, 글의 제목, 글의 태도를 묻는 문제도 소수 출제됐다. 지문의 내용은 물질 만능주의, 자본주의, 금융 위기를 극복하기 위한 미국의 노력, 성(性)차별적인 초등학교 교과서의 삽화, 교육정책, 흥미와 지식에 따라 다른 관찰점, 세계적인 경제 위기에 관한 것이었다.
